This quote means that if we know obedience and we show them that we have obedience, then that means that we will have freedom for ourselves to enjoy. And if you show more obedience, then that means that you will receive more freedom and its better than having just a little bit of freedom. For example, if you are obedient to that person and they notice it, then that means that they will probably give you freedom. But, if you are not obedient and that you will not listen to them, then they will not give you any freedom for you so can roam around where ever you would want to go or hangout with.
