"Hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anybody expects of you. Never excuse yourself."- Henry Ward Beecher

This quote means that if you ever into somebody's path and they expect you to say excuse me because they are higher rank in something, then that mean that you shouldn't excuse yourself because you are not a low person. And everybody thinks that you are low and if they expect it from you, then don't say it because that will change a lot o things. And if you excuse yourself, then that means that you don't believe in yourself because you think of yourself as a low rank person and you do not have the confidence to confront them. But, if you believe and see yourself as a high rank, good, and nice person, then you will not excuse yourself because you are somebody. And you will not be  low to others  because they think that you don't have manners or even think that you are nice because you don't show it.
